H. Lawrence Wienges, DVM 
H.Lawrence Wienges, DVM, is originally from Saint Matthews, SC. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine in 1979 after receiving his Bachelor of Science from Clemson University. He started working at Carolina Veterinary Practice in 1981, and became co-owner in 2004. His wife, Becky, and their daughter, Margaret, are both accomplished artists. In his time away from the office, Dr. Wienges enjoys kayaking, running, welding and gardening. He received the Distinguished Veterinarian of the Year Award in 2017 from South Carolina Association of Veterinarians. He has two Boykin Spaniels and a cat. 

Lori Horne, DVM
Lori Horne, DVM, has been a veterinarian at Carolina Veterinary Practice since 2001. She became co-owner in 2004. She graduated from Clemson University in 1997 with her Bachelor of Science and from the University of Georgia in 2001 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband, Eric, have two daughters, Autumn and Hayden. Dr.Lori enjoys a variety of crafts, reading, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. Her fur-babies include three rescue dogs, Frankie, Zoey and Sparky, two rabbits, Licorice and FooFoo, and a cat, Fft Fft.

Jessica Wiles Craven, LVT
"I have wanted to work with animals since I was a little girl. My dream finally came true! After obtaining my veterinary technician license in 2007, I realized what a joy it was to truly enjoy the animals and clients that I get to interact with every day. I live at home with my husband Julius, daughter Cora, son Cooper, 4 dogs and 2 cats. We enjoy spending quality time together, whether that be a "daycation" or a long summer camping trip. The people at CVP are my second family."

Katie Hudson
Katie has been a Veterinary Assistant at Carolina Veterinary Practice since 2014. She enjoys spending time with her family and has a array of dogs, cats, chickens, and goats. She loves gardening and spending time outdoors.

Andrea Kinard 
Andrea has been with Carolina Veterinary Practice since 2018. Andrea has two dogs and lives on a small farm. In her free time she enjoys the outdoors.

"My love for animals is what brought me to Carolina Veterinary Practice. Being able to help our clients get the best care for their fur babies is a great feeling. I live in Branchville with my husband Carsten and our two sons, Andruw and Nicholas. We have one fur baby, a rescue dog named Whiskey. I love spending time at the beach, cheering on my favorite sports teams, going to concerts and riding ATVs with my husband and boys."

Rachel Howze
"I graduated from Wesley Christian School. I have two siblings. I have always loved animals. I have 10 cats and 1 dog and would love to have a horse. I'm going to college in August 2024. I love being outside and am active in outdoor activities and sports."
